If you are like me, I prefer going to www.timlinden.com, instead of just timlinden.com. I’m not sure why, but I’ve always been a Pro www person.
This plugin ensures visitors to your blog are going to www.yoursite.com and not skipping out on the www.
Why would you do that? Well for search engines, they can get confused if you’ve got both with and without having the same content. This plugin will actually use a 301 Moved Permanently redirect, so they’ll index the correct version too.
