The StartXchange Insider

I did an exclusive behind the scenes look last month, so this month I’ll do an exclusive behind the scenes description of what goes on in my admin backend. The reason for just a description this time is privacy and secrecy. Showing the full pages will reveal some of the techniques I use to prevent abuse that no other exchange has (as I custom made them myself).
The first is the reports I see. The link above shows you one of the 13 graphs that are updated daily. These graphs show me all aspects of the exchange. The number of pages viewed, banners viewed, credits, impressions, etc. Just a quick glance and I can instantly tell if something isn’t right.
It’s crucial to know what’s going on in the exchange. You might be thinking, why updated only once a day? Well it’s simple. Having it updated each day gives me the difference between each day. The changes on an hourly basis differ greatly, so comparing each hour wouldn’t give an overall picture.
The next part I’m going to reveal is the website checker. It detects over 12 different problems and gives me a report. I personally check every website reported and use this checker to quickly analyze a page.
By checking them myself, and not letting the checker do the dictating, I can determine which sites are purposely creating problems and which sites are not.
For instance not too long ago a member’s website was caught for having hidden content that had viruses. I was able to verify the site had bad scripts on it with the checker, but visually see myself that it was unintended. Their website was hacked and a script was placed in their footer that looked like a normal counter script. I was then able to contact the member and the issue was resolved quickly.
That is all the information I have for you now. I hope to have more Insider Info for you later, but until then enjoy my traffic exchange!

I have been trying to access the website to surf and check on my sites but I am unable to do so. Is there a problem? Have a great holiday and Happy New Year!
