List of Directories

In my previous post, Getting your Blog Known, I talked about adding your blog to directories. Well I was surfing BlogAzoo and came across The Tlog which linked to the RSSTop55. This page has tons of directories and RSS submission sites, I highly recommend you visit it.

    Tim,
    We keep seeing “blogs” mentioned as the hot, new thing.
    Where can we get information on how to set one up.
    What is their primary purpose?
    Is it another advertising Media?
    We are asking you, becuase us old timers like the “cut of your jib”
    (at least I’m the Old timer, Shirley is a spring chicken)

    Well blogs can be anything really, it could be one’s journal, or updates on a site, or just information. The reason they are so hot is because of how easy it is to use a blog, with all the blog software that is out. Originally blogs were just dated entries onto sites, usually just linking to cool sites the author found. Now anybody can start a blog about anything. I recommend WordPress.org for a free blog (this site uses WordPress). If you need someone to set it up for you, you can hire me =P
