CLiX Network Links Directory

I’m trying out the links directory utility for my Information Resource Site. After making this post, I will try to add this page to my directory. The script will check that a link is correctly inserted and then add the page to the directory. This section is working properly - or so I beleive.
Next step will be making an admin interface where I can easily add, review, and edit the links pages. At first I will only be able to access it, and then eventually others on the staff will be able to. Once that is setup, I’ll make it live on the site.
Soon I’ll also be making the forum live on the site - then there will be 4 sections - About, Articles, Links, Forum. So there will be quality content, a place to learn about the authors, a place to find sites linking to us, and a place to talk to the authors and perhaps get help.
In the future there will be Tools and Products. The products you’ll be able to download for free or purchase. The tools you’ll access with an account and will most likely be free. Maybe there will be some paid tools too, but for now its looking like free.
What kind of products you ask? Well I’ll probably be doing lots of Internet Marketing products. I would like to fix up my tracker script to make it faster, and use some technologies I have learned since its creation. I have a traffic exchange script, and I’ll probably get into other scripts too. Maybe I’ll make them all and implement them all on Traffic-Xchange so you can see how they all work together.
So what kind of tools do you think there will be? Well I plan on bringing the Study Tool back. That I know was very helpful for me in college. The new version will allow anyone to create their own study guides, and you’ll be able to search for certain courses or classes at certain colleges or schools. Hopefully it will become a great way to study for your upcoming test. I know the repetition was very helpful for me.
I’ll also be developing a youth ministry tool. This will allow you to organize your youth group better. A tool that you can access anywhere - not just your office or home computer. Something that will help you keep track of attendence, upcoming trips and events, manage a e-newsletter, and much more. It should also be free of charge.
The tools I’d like them all to be free, with a donate link there in case someone wants to donate. I don’t like having to charge for things, but lets face it - it costs time to develop the tools, and money to purchase the server. I already have the server, but anything to help pay the bills is good ;-)
So there you have it - what I’m doing in a nutshell. With a page I can test in the link directory. Cya.
