Adsense driving me crazy!

After adding the Google Adsense code to my sites, I have been visiting the admin page like hourly to see the stats. The problem is, it doesn’t tell you WHICH sites the impressions/clicks/cash are coming from.. Untill 2 days later. It tells you the totals, but grouped by domain is 2 days.

I am thinking about getting one of those scripts that track it for you. But then again I don’t know how much I’ve earned with those scripts. I wish it would just tell you what ads were shown, and what ones were clicked, and how much you got.

I can’t tell you how much I am earning, but I can tell you that its more than I make without it =P Really, anything you can do that increases your income, without affecting the quality of your site, is great. I would put popups as decreasing quality. But text ads that are TARGETTED? thats just a genious idea! Cuz now people WANT to click on them. I normally don’t like the idea of pay per click systems, but since its Google and its targetted, the pay per click thing works great.

Now you may be thinking that its cool that I get paid per click on these ads, but don’t go around clicking them just for the sake of clicking them. They track everything and can tell when people are fake clicking, and then all the clicks your computer generated are ignored. Which is cool because even if you do want to be a jerk and click away, I can’t get kicked for you being that way, just your clicks don’t count.

I’m wondering what would happen if I click the ads tho. Some of them I really do want to check out, but I don’t want to be cheating the system. They may just ignore clicks from your own IP, but I don’t want to risk it. I’ve seen some make money on your blog ads, and some sort of wedding blog ads that I wanted to go to, and not all of them have the URL so I can’t just copy and paste that! Maybe I will send a support ticket. That I may, but I gotta get to bed.. Church in the morning!
