What are you doing?

by Tim on February 6, 2010

I talk alot about me, but what about you? What are you guys up to? There is such a variety of people surfing the exchanges it's crazy. So feel free to post a comment with some info about what you are up to. It would also be interesting to hear how you found out about the exchanges!

Right now thanks to your learning process. I’ve got my own go daddy account and am sending out 45 million ads a day ! I had my best day yesterday! Thanks! Tim

Tim February 6, 2010 at 12:18 pm

Just make sure it’s all legit. Godaddy is very quick to close you down for spam. Not saying you are but I had StartXchange turned off by them because of a single complaint by someone who subscribed to another person’s list. I was shocked. So if those 45 million are emails make sure they are opt in ;-)

At the mo I am setting up my new website, and hope to be finished by the middle of next. Also currently watching Liverpool v Everton footy match. I hear its super bowl weekend too. I usually find out about exchanges via the lists I am on.

Tim February 6, 2010 at 12:16 pm

Yeah, I only watch the SuperBowl no other games. I like the fun with friends aspect.

Kevin February 6, 2010 at 10:12 am

Hi Tim

I know how I found about your exchange – it was through the TrekPay advertising site.
Still a bit directionless when it comes to internet marketing.
I am finding it interesting but only making bits of money here and there.
Cheers
Kevin (UK)

Tim February 6, 2010 at 12:16 pm

Well keep at it, I only made bits of money for a while too but I found when I keep looking for ways to make a few more bits it adds up to big bites ;-)

Hi Tim, when I’m not surfing on SXC, I administrate my Internet Marketing Blog, my two Text Ads Exchanges and one Traffic Exchange :)

And in my spare time I flip ready made blogs for profits.

Thanks for asking that !

Ivan Golemdzhiyski February 6, 2010 at 10:33 am

Hi, Tim, obviously surfing TE only isn’t the best, one can do for an online business (my opinion)… I switched over and use safe lists too. I spend also some time blogging… It’s well known, that one must stay focused in order to have real business results, but it depends on each person! I wish all of your subscribers to find the best way for their promotions!
All the best,
Ivan Golemdzhiyski

Hi Tim,

currently I am focused on building my Freebie Trading business. I write a weekly blog on the topic and just recently started advertising Freebie Trading on traffic exchanges.

Thank you for the wonderful blog Tim.

Right now i am teaching someone how to run his newly bought ad exchanges. I usually only deal with one at a time. Two others to help too plus still involved promoting a new ad exchange for a friend.

Sometimes I wonder if I will get any of my work done. I would like o offer a service to help admins but everyone says there is no call for it.

The problem is when they are in trouble they have no money.

Now what do you think. I have to admit this week it has been hectic and very enjoyable just wish i could make a proper living at it.

How do I find them? Usually just find them by accident.

Tim February 6, 2010 at 2:14 pm

It is hard but you gotta make sure you are making an income otherwise you wont be able to help them out long.

Laura February 6, 2010 at 10:53 am

I just rented a TAE and trying to boost membership. So I will need to advertise, any tips other than surfing? (I so that anyway and sent blasts to my list of which loads joined)
And any tips to raise activity level???
Thanks in advance

Douglas J Gregory February 6, 2010 at 11:04 am

I am building my list non stop.
Working with several ad swap groups. Started a new IM list 7 days ago after dumping my old one to start anew. Went from 0 to 787 in less than 7 days.

Click on my name above to find out how!

Also building Explosive Manual Traffic Exchange.

Seems like building a responsive TE is more work than I would have imagined. Our rankings are climbing weekly.

Thanks for the question Tim,
Douglas J Gregory

Trying to learn the workings of TrafficWave and find a consistent program that pays and pays. I make a little from here and there. Like the appearance of your TE.

Thanks.

I’m hibernating this weekend to try and get somewhat caught up again – not sure that is even possible but going to try.

This last week has been just awesome as we celebrated 1000 members at Hummingbird Hits last weekend.

Staying focused and heading for the next 1000 – it’s been the hard way – one member at a time but so worth it – I have the best members out there.

To get my hinder out of this chair, I line dance – wonderful for me mentally and physically.

Tim February 6, 2010 at 2:16 pm

Congrats on the 1000!

Tony Tezak February 6, 2010 at 11:46 am

First, I am gearing up for the launch of my new ebook – Traffic Exchange Solutions that will launch on Feb 16th. It has been a long haul project.:)
Secondly, anxiously awaiting the Super Bowl tomorrow. Will not be online while it is on :)
Cheers!

Chris February 6, 2010 at 11:47 am

Hi Tim,

Right now I’m trying to get my new TE up and running. I actually just bought a banner ad on your site :)

I own a number of other successful websites so I figured why not try running a TE. So far so good.

Today though I won’t get much down as it’s snowing like crazy here in the northeast and I have to shovel about every 2 hours lol.

Regards,
Chris

Kjell Lindstrom February 6, 2010 at 1:05 pm

Hi Tim,

Kjell, Sweden here.

For the moment I´m working (not me but my designer) on a totaly new design for my TE, EternityTraffic.

Remeber you said on TE Live about it: “wow, it´s very violete.”

Not for so long.

I´m also promoting my new site Traffic Booster and planning for my own dedicated server very soon.

Thank´s

They say there is always the first time and today it is for me to comment to any blog. :<) Normally I spend most
of my time clicking for credits and sending ads to TE's and email blasters.
This weekend is very special for me.
Being the proud Grand pappy of a very bright 8.5 year old sweety I found out last night that she has been chosen after auditioning to sing the
Canadian Natrional anthem in both French and English at the Olympic
torch relay when it arrives in her
hometown of Chilliwack BC.Expected crowd of 10000 or more to be there. So I am already
bursting with pride and can't wait
for tomorrow. It would give me great pleasure to find that this message would also give you the incentive to visit my splash page
of my very unique and one of a kind Organic Acres program where I am a founder and lease holder of a 240sq ft garden plot. Details found on the website. This was fun and migh lead to a bit more rambling next time

James Vest February 6, 2010 at 1:49 pm

Doing the same thing I do everyday. Promoting my TE & building my list. Not very exciting, but hoping to half as successful as you are.

William Brant February 6, 2010 at 4:50 pm

Hmm lets see , Im finishing up the transformation of 13deadly TE Tragedies to being a free product, updating my blog, planning new things for MTP, working at KRM , and getting ready to take the kids bowling.

rubby February 6, 2010 at 8:50 pm

Doing as much free advertising I could get to build active membership base due to limited ads budget. =p

Ensuring sites submitted comply to the simple site rules.

Deleting un-activated accounts after 24 hours and checking for duplicate accounts for deletion.

Growth is rather slow. That’s expected though when you started without a list or JVs, JUST DO IT!

But satisfaction is what you get when new users activate their account and every now and then sales are made.

Yup! Online, that is bacisally what I am up to.

Marilyn L Martin February 6, 2010 at 10:03 pm

HI Tim,

In my case it may have been more appropriate to ask what am I not up to? LOL Seriously though, I am building up all my TE’s , I have been doing a lot of design work, I also have 2 TAE’s and so I am working on building up members in those as well. I plan on getting back to doing my blog soon teaching people about Internet Marketing and how to succeed. I also have another Blog that I need to work on about Positive Thinking which I talk to people about and teach as much as I can.

Needless to say I am a very busy person, but I like it that way and wouldn’t want it to be any other way being a workaholic. LOL

At the moment just reading up some of the comments. Looks like everyone is going to be watching the Sup bowl…How bout them saints? First time ever….Should be a good match up.

Well take care all and have a great day!

Shaun Range February 7, 2010 at 12:41 am

I have a lot going on. I have been transferring all of my hosting to Mammal Hosting, building new squeeze pages, learning more about PHP, trying to make the traffic exchange that I recently took over great, and celebrating my Mom’s birthday!

I am a busy guy.

Keith Butterworth February 7, 2010 at 3:08 am

Just published todays first update to TENews – now going to have a cup of tea and do some surfing….

I like helping people learn the simple internet tasks. To save myself time, I devoted a website to the newbies.Information Place. I do a new blog once a month, work on my websites, surf the traffic exchanges and safelists. My income on the internet is from my website links, two business communities, short story writing (for others) and my businesses.I try to teach others how to spot a scam.I am beginning to think most people do not care if they are in a scam or not.

John February 7, 2010 at 6:33 am

I have started looking more seriously into Traffic Exchanges and ways to make money with them to help promote my primary business.

I find it very interesting now that I’ve dug deeper into using them right.

Keep up the good work Tim.

Steven Whitelcok February 7, 2010 at 4:44 pm

I’m currently rebuilding my website, and working on my free give away an e-book on how to effectively use Traffic exchanges to maximize your credits by surfing. I’m debating on making the main tutorial about startxchange or another TE….

Burning the candle at both ends running Team Hurricane. Our motto is “It Pays To Join Our Team”. It took me a a while to understand that you don’t get rich trying to make yourself rich. You get rich by helping others get there. Put your effort into building a team and helping them grow and put off your own needs for a while. You would be surprised at how quickly you get what you were looking for! Members are now growing daily because a whole lot of people working together on a good plan can do great things! Earle
