One of the problems with traffic exchanges is information overload. After talking about it in TE Live we decided we wanted to make a simple 3 step system to get people started in the right direction.
As we were talking about it, we started noticing people really digged being on a team. There is this scariness level to doing it on your own. We wanted to use that team aspect in the teams, so TE Teams was born.
The topic has come up on why it doesn't do XYZ. Let me be clear, TE Teams isn't a replacement for anything already out there. It doesn't do everything Affilliate Funnel does. It doesn't list every exchange Traffic Exchange List does. It's only meant as a simple way to get people the basic core: Auto-Responder, Tracker, Exchanges.
It has gotten a bit complicated because part of the team concept for many is the building of each other's downline, specifically in Traffic Wave. Because it's an MLM program you can refer people to your downline and still receive benefit. So many like the idea of doing just that, helping their downline.
I'm one of those guys. What I've done is used TEtoolbox's rotator tracker links feature to make my tracker to Traffic Wave go to 3 of my downline member's links. As they get referrals I'll change which 3. No guarantees or promises, just what I'm doing. So if you haven't joined Traffic Wave yet, and that's cool with you: Join Here
OK so back to those teams.. We've got a pretty big one going right now called TE123. There are others as well, and each can be run differently. To be honest we don't know what we are doing yet, and we aren't 100% on the whole process, but the concept is there and so far people are loving it. If you want to be on my team, go for it. If you want to be on another team, go for it.
In the end the goal is the same: Refer people into your downlines and jump start them into using traffic exchanges properly. Teams can decide for themselves if they build each other downlines, or build their own individually, but either way you are still on a team with like minded people there to help each other out with your own team forum. And the team leader gets to build a list with all the team members so they can send out motivational emails. Pretty cool I think!
Update: Our original team got too big, so I created a new one. This one is exclusive to only people in my Traffic Wave downline (in any of the 10 levels). If you are there, or you haven't joined Traffic Wave yet, check out Team Linden!

I have joined already! It is a great idea as people like the team concept. My primary goal remains to build my list but I will add this as part of my autoresponder series. Looking forward to seeing what this TE Teams evolves to.
Go team Excelsior!!!

This is quite a change from your comments last week about teams. To be completely honest, I have had both good and bad experiences with team builds in the past so I didn’t really disagree with your viewpoint last week.
If nothing else it is nice to see people excited about something different.
Thanks!
OH WOW…… This is GREAT…… I am loving it….
And don’t forget Lynn M team. Team Traffic….. we are in second ranking now behind Tim’s team….

I joined Team Traffic just a few minutes after the announcement of the site in general – and have loved every minute of it!
Rant – you guys keep changing the color scheme and that messes up my custom splash pages I created! LOL :-P
While I personally have only received 2 referrals, other downlines have exploded – so the concept is working!
I can’t wait to see how TE Teams evolves.
And Guy – Team Traffic Rules! :-P
The team leader gets to pick the color scheme ;-)
I really appreciate having the ability to advertise only one splash page, but be able to build many downlines at the same time. Kudos Tim ( and to your associates as well ) Looks like the launch was a bit pre-mature, judging by all the confusion in the forums. I’m sure you are hard at work getting things sorted out. I wanted to create my own team, but have been unable to do so. Is there an “Invite Code” that I need to apply for first?
Yeah we are working on it, a few more changes that everyone is gonna LOVE =P
Tim, after all the topics i did read at your blog i know for sure that you are a real Profi, you deserve the trust of everyone who wishes to join a team..:)
Goodluck..:)
