I would also have joined because of the extra info, but I would probably also try another interesting approach. What if Tim wrote something about him being a dad and a loving husband, give us info on how much time he spends doing that a day, and still being able to work fulltime online. As a TE owner and someone who has to design their own site being a work at home mom, I like that you have included the extra info. TE members are not all just about the TE, they are advertising their businesses, whether that be another TE, or a bath and body shop. So I personally think it is good to include the other things you do because I might not have subscribed otherwise! It wasn't necessarily your TE expertise that 'got' me. It was the whole package.
