You might be missing out on this

One feature of Sweeva we should have made more well known but really didn't. Those who are using, are loving it. Those who hear about it late are like hey why didn't you tell me?

I'm talking about the Sweeva Toolbar. I mentioned it in another post but really wanted to drive it home on this post in case you missed it.

The Sweeva Toolbar will update every 20 seconds with the title of the site currently being shown. If the person is a high enough level it'll even be customized with their colors (mine is orange obviously). The great thing is you can click Browse and immediately be in there viewing the site with everyone else.

So if you are waiting for your site to be shown, or you like to keep up on the cool sites, it's really easy to do.

There is also a newer feature, the Notifications Button. This tells you how many notifications you have on your Sweeva account. We add a notification when your site bid is accepted, and after your site is viewed with some stats. A real easy way to know when your site is coming up!

And finally there is the Add Site button. It lets you add sites quickly to your Sweeva account. Not much more to say than that. I find it great for adding my blog posts to Sweeva. In fact, I'll add this post with it right after I publish..

So there you go, it's a great Toolbar, works in IE, Firefox, and Safari for the Mac and PC. I do hope they get one for Chrome but I don't develop the toolbar myself so I'm out on that one. And of course it's free of charge and free of malware ;-)

Follow up question — for toolbar loyalty counter purposes…is just one added site (or browse) per day via the toolbar allowed?

Thanks,

One action, it should count if you click the notifications or browse or add site ;-)

Hmmm, then that is not working as it should (am using Firefox). 9 out of 10 times, I access Sweeva via the toolbar but my Toolbar loyalty does not increase for clicking on “browse” or clicking on notifications. Only when I click “add site”. Two nights ago it did not increase my toolbar loyalty for adding a site, but last night it did. I think it’s time for my trusty sledgehammer to beat it into submission *grins*

It will only count 1 time per day ;-)

Thanks for the tip, Tim. I’ve done everything on Sweeva so far except set up the toolbar…

I like this new social browsing!

Awesome job on the toolbar, Tim!

Using it with FireFox. Works perfectly. Lovin’ it!

Feature Suggestion- a “Bid” buttom

I’ve loving Sweeva all the way around. I just wish I had the money in my bank account to pay for the OTO upgrade offer during signup. That was a wonderful deal!

During this past week, the gang took suggestions made at the NMF forum and implemented them! 10 thumbs up!

Thanks to Sweeva, I got my first signups for another program during their referral contest. I’ve very happy with the results.

Ok, now for the toolbar *grins* Excellent idea. I often have the free radio going while surfing Sweeva (go Super80s!). =)

I love the toolbar, especially since you can use benefits (headlines) as site names.

Doing so will help put more eyeballs on your pages. And visitors viewing your site because the toolbar connected with them are probably your ideal prospects.

the toolbar rocks. And now instead using bland boring site names like Some Program Splash, you can use benefits (headlines) as site names.

Not only should you get extra eyeballs on your pages by doing that; the people coming from the toolbar will probably your ideal prospect because they are seeing your pages because they want those benefits

The number one reason that I like Sweeva is for testsing new ads.

We all know TEs provide untargeted traffic… Thats why we use splash and squeeze pages to turn that traffic into targeted buyers and subscribers. So, it goes to reason, if you are testing a page with untargeted traffic that converts well, that when you send targeted traffic to the same page it should convert like gangbusters!

Test until you find your best ad, then run with it! You’ll find that your sign-ups and sales will increase dramatically.

I have to disagree. Traffic exchange traffic is targeted if you are promoting what surfers want while they are visiting your site.

That being said, traffic exchange traffic is FORCED traffic because surfers are forced to see your site in order to get traffic to their site

You run squeeze pages to start a relationship. And when they click on subject lines and calls to actions inside your emails they become much more than than targeted visitors than they were to begin with – they are become PRE-SOLD traffic

If you do it right

Gary Calvert May 13, 2010 at 2:05 pm

Forced traffic is not targeted… When they click thru to my main site, then they become a targeted visitor.

Much like a link in the search engine is not a targeted visitor until they click thru on that link to your site.

My point was to not display your main page on a TE, but use a splash or squeeze to get the surfers attention and entice them to click thru to your site.

Using gimmicky ads to get click thrus may get you more traffic to your site, but if the info there isn’t what they were expecting, then they will quickly move on.

The goal of any advertising campaign should be to get people to your main site, then add them to your list. Once you have them added to your list then you can cultivate that relationship to make them fans (and customers) for life.
