How To: Create a Splash Page

I am going to start creating How To video tutorials. My first is on Creating Splash Pages.

Everyone says to use splash pages on manual traffic exchanges, but if you’ve never created one, how do you do that?? Well this video tutorial will teach you how by using TEtoolbox.com - A free service I created not too long ago.

    TEtoolbox is great, and it´s very easy to create a splash page.

    … TEtoolbox would be perfect if it was possible to upload your own images (and full access to delete them as well).

    You have many images to choose from at TEtoolbox, but if members could upload their own images, there would be no reason for using any other service or their own server to store their splash page.

    Tim, Thanks for the info.

    One question - how simple is too simple. I mean if all you had was that splash page, the one in your example, would that be good? Is it possible to show some examples of some well created splash pages? I ask, because as a web designer it is hard to not “design” the page and I’d like to see what an exchange owner things are effective splashes.

    James - Good idea.. I’ll have to create another one to touch on that. Many people were having trouble understanding just how to create one, so this tutorial is only setup to show you the very basics.

    @Tim - that’s what I figured. Glad you’re deciding to do a more “How To” create one that works as opposed to the how to of using TEtoolbox.

    Can’t wait to see it!
