We’ve been working on this project for a very long time, and finally decided to make it a top priority to get the site running and having fun. Right now it’s invite only, so to get in you’ll need to beg someone who is inside for an invite ;-)
Sitizens is essentially an online social game, where you Arrive at sites you go to already. When you arrive 5 times, you become a Sitizen of that site. It’s like proof you go there often.
It gets fun because you can become the King of a domain if you are the top person to arrive there. It’s become quite competitive too: 2,238 people have overthrown kings of domains already.. Many times it’s someone trying to re-claim their spot as rightful King. Nothing like your wife stealing a domain from you!
We’ve also added in Guilds, so you can work with your friends and compete as a team to take control of as many domains as you can. Right now I’m having a great time trying to destroy AwesomeSauce, a guild started by Blain Jones. I will admit, them having 15 more members in their Guild is making it difficult. But we’ve so far kept them from taking over as top Guild!
There are literally pages and pages and pages of ideas we’ve yet to incorporate into Sitizens. Different features and attractions to ensure that everyone who plays get’s hooked immediately. It’s super fun!
Last post I tried adding 10 invite links, and it may have confused people more than anything else. So if you’d like an invite, please Tweet with the hashtag #sitizens asking for an Invite, I’ll try to DM you one ASAP!

At first didn’t know what to make of Sitizens, but then saw the potential.
I am having so much fun and am learning so much as well, by finding all
these new websites I had never been too. What an education.

I got off to a late start cuz I was traveling but I am having fun catching up. I find it interesting and fun. I am in the Bellas Cabana Crowd and someone(s) posted quite a few links on pottery. I took quite a few pottery courses in college so these really piqued my interest and then I started posting links of potterer’s I knew. Of course to do so I needed to Google search for them, which then led to looking up other artists I knew/know. So besides being fun it is educational.
I’ve been using my Zen Points to build my list of favorites. I may not have a big kingdom, but I will check in with my humble surfdoms every day. I’m not in a guild yet ~ anybody want The Bear on their team?
