Instant Banner Creator Review
This is the review you’ve all been waiting for! You were drenched with emails about it yesturday, but you all held out until you found out what Tim said, right? Oh, you got it anyways? Eh, that’s ok!
Kidding aside, Instant Banner Creator is pretty sweet. I had my chance at the banner creator gig. I’ve had one on StartXchange for quite some time, but nowhere as close as this:
Now that might not be the best graphic in the world, because your’s truley made it. But I wanted to show you a few things about it.. See how the red text overlaps the other text? Yep, I did that. I just clicked and dragged it there.
You can make Banners, Buttons, Headers, Footers, Animations, and Peel Away Ads. My creator.. Just a banner.. And it had the StartXchange logo (the really old one) as the background, and only black text. At the time it seemed great because you could stick your photo on it.
LOL thinking about it now I probably should have used a different template to show you the different ones there are, but hey I like the blue button OK! So my official review is that it’s easy to use, and it works. If you have photoshop and are great at it, chances are you won’t need this. But for the 99% of us that don’t have a clue, that’s who this is for.
So why do graphics matter? Well we are visiual people afterall. When you’ve got your splash page all made up, just a simple button as a call to action instead of a normal link could make a big difference. I challenge you to try it out and split test the results!

Great review. My first thoughts when I read the emails about this product was, why would anybody need this?
But I think I understand.
It’s about branding yourself, and being unique (stand out from the crowd). Most affiliate products (traffic exchanges) comes with their own banners, but you should have your own banners.
I am not sure if you should invest in this program or not, I guess it all comes down to how many banners you really need.
I am using an excellent designer from India. He charges me about $10 for one banner, and he is really awesome.

This is a great free to use source. There are others out there that are free but they are old news.
This banner creator honestly takes everything up to a new bar providing great graphics! You can even customize the heck out of your banners with all the tools you offer in the membership. A great addition to the entire web!
Banners are getting more and more clicks lately IF they are unique and eye catching! This product should do you quite nicely.
Thanks for the review…and yeah, I was waiting to see what someone else had to say first! ;-)
Hey Tim, Awesome tool, Everyone
should take advantage of this and put some real nice banners on the net.

Got it!
Sad thing is will have to wait till weekend to play with it
Looks awesome though
Tim,
You don’t need a banner creator – what you NEED is a spelling checker!
LOL!
John
The one think I don’t like about it is the size of the banner templates. Standard banners are 468×60. Their templates are 468×68. I know a lot of sites will automatically resize an image, but many of them won’t. Plus resizing does cause some distortion.

I signed up for this one already. Am going to play with it on the weekend.
Keep up the reviews, I enjoy them.
Thanks,

This is one fantastic product.I know because I have been using it for the last 12 years. That’s right another copied website from Soren Jordansen. The Instant Banner Creator is the system invented by Steve Oliphant in 1995 and improved on ever since. Mr. Oliphant owns the copyright and the trademark to the Crecon Banner Creator right down to the You Tube Video that when you watch it will look like a exact copy of Mr. Jordansen video. I invite those of you think I am making a unwarranted attack on this guy, but just like the floating button was someones creation I urge you to go to:
http://www.crecon.com
and make your own conclusion.
Steve Oliphant first started doing this in 1995 when I came upon his services for one of my former websites and I have used his Instant Banner Maker ever since.
While the Floating Button was open source meaning anyone could use the technology, Not so with the Banner Creator. If you go to:
http://www.crecon.com/legal/
termsofuse.html
You will find this time Mr. Jordansen
crossed the line and interfeared with some ones copyrighted design. Look under Proprietary Information and keep reading. The whois info shows that Mr. Oliphant started this in 1995

?d=crecon&tld=com
Can Mr. Jordansen come up with any original idea’s? Why does he have to copy someone elses hard work and then profit off of it by his one time offer?
I know I will be the bad guy somehow by revealing this to the world like I did with the floating action button but this is what it is, someone elses hard work and creation.
Can’t wait to see what he copies next!
Rich Morris
LOL Rich, the two are completely different. The site you are linking to is just like the banner creator I made for StartXchange.
There’s no point and click moving the text around, there’s no clip art, there’s only room for two fixed lines..
And where did he download the script from? I don’t see where to download it from that site..
I could understand making a claim if it was remotely close to IBC, but it isn’t.
Priceless, thanks for the laugh Rich.
For the record Instant Banner Creator was built from scratch using the newest technology. There isn’t anything like (but I’m sure there will be)
And Rich you might want to take a look at the definition of libel
Rich you are desperate man. That is sinking to another low. IBC was completely coded from scratch. Give it up.

I gave it a try and, Was rather disappointed!
Most Banners have more than ONE (1) line…But that is all you get with the FREE Instant Banner Creator!
Maybe the Upgraded Version is better?
That’s my 25 cents worth…
God Bless and Have a Great Xmas!
msbeejay
Ah BJ I did not know that. I’m using the upgraded version, and it’s been great!
You have as many lines of text as you can squeeze in there. Doesn’t matter if you are free or upgraded.
You just add 1 line at a time of course ;-)
Sorry ’bout that Soren…Guess I missed seeing that in your “About Us” or in the Benefits Package!?
Maybe I will reconsider my decision and try again if I can?
God Bless and Merry Christmas!
BJ
