If you ever visit Rhode Island..
You must visit Providence during Waterfire. It’s amazingly relaxing. What is it? Well basically, they start a bunch of fires down a river that goes through the city, and play music. There will often times be street performers to watch as well. I’ve got many more Providence Waterfire photos for your viewing. They haven’t released the schedule for this upcoming year yet, but in case you are visiting here this summer, you might want to wait till they do so you don’t end up missing it.

What a beautiful picture! I will definitely think about visiting there:)
Tim,
That looks awesome. Definitely must go see that. Rhode Island also has a huge Halloween thing they do, that we tried to see one year. We got there only to have a 2 hour wait in line to begin the pumkin walk. Need to plan it better this year.

Beautiful State, I didn’t know Rhode Island was this beautiful. I am going to have to take a vacation here. This would be my third vacation spot besides Hawaii and Canada. Thanks for sharing

Very interesting blog. I definately want to go to Rhode Island.
Waterfire is defiantly one of Rhode Island’s claims to fame. As for the pumpkin thing that Ken Athas mentioned; I believe it is the Jack O’ Lantern Spectacular you are referring to; if that is the case that has moved from McCoy Stadium to somewhere in Connecticut. So Rhode Island can unfortunately no longer claim it.
