Interview with Toni Jonckheere

1) How and when did your online business get started?

Well let me start off by saying I’ve tried several business learning the ins and outs of each one. Sadly many of them failed but what didn’t fail me was the traffic exchanges I used to help me promote. This lead me to believe that maybe that was the business to get involved with. I felt a very a strong pull towards running one that would not only work on my behalf but for other people who needed place’s to advertise. So I started one in Dec. of 2006.

2) Which exchange(s) do you own or co-own?

At the moment I own: Ace Biz Traffic

3) Do you currently work exclusively online?

Yes Tim I work on line only at this time.

4) How many hours per day do you spend on your exchange(s)?

Well at first to be totally honest not much at all since I didn’t realize I needed to put time and effort and more money into what I was getting involved with. But now I am there between five to twelve hours a day when able to do so . This includes promoting and cleaning up lost links bad site. I strive to keep my sites clean and exceptable for my customers.

5) Do you do support yourself, or do you outsource support?

Since I can no longer work in public my husband God Bless him helps me out when he can.

6) How fluent are you with HTML, javascript, and PHP?

I am ok with html and a little knowledge of java scripts thanks to the teachings of my wonderful daughter..lol, but not as much as I’d like to and continue to learn regularly. As for PHP it looks alien to me I must say. lol

7) Approximately how many members join your exchange a month?

Sadly Tim not many at all but I believe that is going to change with the help of some wonderful exchange owners I have been blessed to chat with and learn from. Yes Tim that includes you too! If I may mention several of them it would be appreciated:

These people above are just a few that I feel deserve recognitions for their kindness to myself and other’s.

8) Does most of your advertising come from members referring, or you?

For the moment it is myself doing all the advertising. Alhtough it has come to my attention that I have several area’s on my site that need some re-vamping to help with advertising.

9) Are you subscribed to any blogs? Which is your favorite?

Well my favorite one is a forum: The Members Forum

Ez-Chats belongs to myself and daughter therefore it would be my second choice for blogging

Furthermore I belong to so many blogging site it would be unfair to say that any one in particular is better then the other. They all have something to offer in one way or another.

10) What would be the biggest tip you could give to readers?

Read everything before purchasing, sit down and make a plan about what you really want. Learn all you can from who ever is kind enough to share information with you. Don’t take it anything or anyone for granted and work hard on what you desire.
