Interview with Robert Palmer

1) How and when did your online business get started?

If my memory serves me correctly, I actually started doing business on the Internet in 2001/2002 as a MLM affiliate. It was sometime around 2002/2003 when I found the Netmarketingforum owned by Jon Olson. It was Jon that suggested, if I wanted to make some money that I should own my own business.

One of the business models Jon suggested was a traffic exchange. To make a long story short, I ended up finding you (Tim Linden), and after some time planning the traffic exchange I launched my first business model in 2003.

2) Which exchange(s) do you own or co-own?

I own MysticalMaze.com, and I co-own 10khits4unow.com, ViralVisitors.com, viralClassAds.com, LemmingRun.com, Clickaholics.com, TsunamiGold.com.

3) Do you currently work exclusively online?

No, I currently work a offline JOB, but I do put in 45+ hours a week on average to my online business.

4) How many hours per day do you spend on your exchange(s)?

Thats really hard to say, as my time is spread out. Our other business’s include market training, hosting, etc. I don’t punch a clock!

5) Do you do support yourself, or do you outsource support?

No, I have a partner, as well as staff members whom use various means of support technique’s.

6) How fluent are you with HTML, javascript, and PHP?

I’m fluent in HTML-use PhotoShop for graphics, and can work around Java and PHP, but rely on a programmer/staff member for bug issues and script modifications.

7) Approximately how many members join your exchange a month?

Conservatively- All total about 300 - 600 a month.

8) Does most of your advertising come from members referring, or you?

Its a combined effort, after all thats what makes us a “Family of Programs”!

9) Are you subscribed to any blogs? Which is your favorite?

Yes, I’m subscribed to many. (business & personal) Never really considered which was a favorite, but if I were to name a business favorite it would be- Videos.WebProNews.com

10) What would be the biggest tip you could give to readers?

Use a Lead Capture Page (LCP) to build your list, then follow up with the leads that come in via phone or email, then promote your businesses based on the persons needs in the back end.
