Interview with Mark Brown

1) How and when did your online business get started?

My online business started with an info. product called “Exchange Secrets Revealed” wherin I interviewed a prominent group of Traffic Exchange owners and then sold it with an affiliate program back in 2004/2005.

The launch of that project was surrounded by controversey and then a similar/copy cat product was launched after it so I pulled it off of the market and will be re-releasing those interviews later this year.

You were one of the people I interviewed and I remember quite well the enjoyment I got out of interviewing you Tim.

2) Which exchange(s) do you own or co-own?

I was the Co-Owner of ProClickEstate.com, now I am the sole owner of it and am relaunching it. My business partner (Rey Salinas) and I split the domain and are turning one exchange into two.

Stay tuned for the results.

3) Do you currently work exclusively online?

No I do not work exclusively online. I am also a Warrior Leader in the U.S. Army.

4) How many hours per day do you spend on your exchange(s)?

The amount of time I spend on exchanges varies per day because I also provide administrative support to a few select and prominent program owners in the Traffic Exchange Community.

I enjoy not only assisting my own clients but the clients of my cooperation marketing partners as well.

5) Do you do support yourself, or do you outsource support?

I provide the support for my exchange myself and also provide support on a consulting basis to other Traffic Exchange Owners.

6) How fluent are you with HTML, javascript, and PHP?

I know enough programing to make me dangerous, only enough to get by. The advanced programming I outsource or get help from programmers that are willing to teach me how to do what I need to get accomplished.

7) Approximately how many members join your exchange a month?

I have no solid data for you at this time on how many members join ProClickEstate.com as it has not relaunched yet.

8) Does most of your advertising come from members referring, or you?

A tactic that I used to employ and will continue to do is promote my exchange heavily for my members. I do not rely on them to advertise however if they choose to I do reward them with many added benefits.

9) Are you subscribed to any blogs? Which is your favorite?

I am subscribed to many marketing related blogs, my personnal favorite is - drum roll please…

My own blog - (did you see that one coming :-)

I know it’s a shameless plug but I highly enjoy blogging at www.MarkEdwardBrown.com and my readers are worldclass folks which makes blogging very rewarding both educationally and financially.

10) What would be the biggest tip you could give to readers?

Always use the powerhouse exchanges (The Big Names) however keep your eyes open for new and unique exchanges that employ new features or combine features that make traffic generation easier and more efficient.
