How and when did your online business get started?

My very first online business opened in 2002. I had been mostly doing affiliate marketing prior to that. I received alot of advice and help through my friends I met through MPAM, and you could say ‘the rest is history’.

Vinterchange, Hillbillihits, Clickinpeople, Traffic-Exchange-Business, TX-Totalshare and NewWay2Surf

Do you currently work exclusively online?

Yes

How many hours per day do you spend on your exchange(s)?

about 12 hours a day.

Do you do support yourself, or do you outsource support?

With the exchanges I own myself, I do my own support. With the one’s I co-own we share the support duties.

How fluent are you with HTML, javascript, and PHP?

Fluent in HTML and PHP, but not as fluent in javascript.

Approximately how many members join your exchange a month?

Each exchange varies on signups. So it ranges anywhere from 400-800 a month.

Does most of your advertising come from members referring, or you?

Mostly through my advertising, but each month and exchange varies. When I offer up referral contest sometimes the members beat me.

Are you subscribed to any blogs? Which is your favorite?

Yes. My favorite is Tim Knox’s blog.

What would be the biggest tip you could give to readers?

Never give up. Learn from your mistakes and pick yourself up and try again. The only thing that can ‘hold you down’ is yourself.
