WKBC here we come!

by Tim on March 7, 2006

We won't be moving until June, but after discussing it with my wife and Pastor, I've decided to start going to WKBC this Sunday. We currently live about half way in between both Churches, so it won't be much more of a drive to this church [peter] and if we can get "plugged in" now then we can start getting into anything that is going on there before the move.

The problem with knowing we are moving but not for a while is that if we continue going to QBC, then things that are planned for and such will be good and all - but we won't be able to participate. So if a new opportunity to serve comes up, we might want to sign up, but then we'd have to quit when we move. So we might as well do the change over now, and be able to get involved in everything.

Although I'm not yet sure what there is at WKBC to specifically get involved in. However, I look forward to the College & Career Sunday School class. We've gone a few times in the past and it was pretty cool.

Tim. Thank you so much for being an integral part of the QBC college/young adults ministry. If it wasn’t for you, it would have flopped last fall, so thank you for hanging in there. I think it’s at a point now where it can flourish and I hope that is what it does. I look forward to your involvement in any cross-church ministries that begin shortly, and hopefully I will see you at any WKBC functions I attend

By the way, there’s no need for you to be treated any differently by people at QBC or to trest them differently. Your motives for leaving are pure, so you don’t have to avoid talking to people or talk to them any differently than if you were still there.
