Using CB Pirate Effectively

by Tim on August 6, 2009

Just a quick video on my thoughts about CB Pirate, and how to use it effectively. I think some people aren't seeing the goal so I want to make sure you use it effectively and maximize the return on your investment.

I did this without notes or anything so if it's not like in a 1/2/3 format that's why LOL. I was able to edit out the air conditioner turning on but not the kids yelling =P Oh and if you haven't yet LOL..  –> Join Here <–

Hey Tim,

Good thoughts about CB Pirate especially surrounding the buzz of the recent launch.

Despite the system that CB Pirate has it can’t replace building your own list and promoting yourself first.

(Now where have I heard those words?)

The real power of CB Pirate to me is directing my subscribers to it in my autoresponder to make it as hands-free as possible, that way I don’t have to waste the traffic I could use building my own lists and programs.

Have a great day, Tim. Thanks for the suggestions on how to stay focused.

Ok, Maybe I missed something cause all I have is your welcome address to your blog. I thought you were going to give some tips on Using CBP effectively.

Did something happen to the video?

Do you have javascript/video enabled in your browser? It loads fine for me..

I have the same problem as Michael! Just the welcome video!

Thanks,
Donna

Try refreshing the page 4 times.. I *think* it might be conflicting with the blog post video, and the welcome vid should only show 3 times.

Thanks for the video, Tim. I think you made several good points.

When you said “it isn’t the same for everybody,” that is key. I’ve been working online since 2004. I’ve tried all sorts of programs, ideas, and even the basics :).

The one thing I have learned is that every individual has to find his/her own path on this journey. What works for one will not necessarily work for another. Yet a portion may be the perfect fit for what they are already doing. This is a lot of trial and error and success.

The final key in success is to continue and learn. No one ever succeeded by quiting.

Great stuff man. Very very cool video. The best thing I think that you mentioned was the ‘promote you’ message. You are a prime example of how powerful personal branding can be in this business. Way to go man!!!!

Tim August 6, 2009 at 9:20 pm

Yeah it wasn’t till I started doing that, that things really took off. That and meeting you all in Washington DC. Hmmmmmm.

Ahhhh but Tim, it’s a conspiracy. No one can get ahead with all these evil gurus holding them back…

Thanks Tim for your comments. Right on the mark as always. CB Pirates will help with building list and generating some income. Both CBPirate and the mini-sites need to have traffic directed to them. One needs to also brand oneself too and this another cool way to do it.

I enjoyed your explanation of Clickbank Pirate. It helped explain more how to use it and point me in the right direction. The longer I work at making an income online, the more I promote myself and get my name “out there,” the more people will become familiar with me and my face, the more comfortable and more trusting they will become with me. This is one more way to do just that. I will be at home enjoying my family instead of going to my JOB every day. Thank you.

Hey Tim,

I had been trying all day to view this video – finally read the comments and did the refresh thing and it worked!

And I’m glad it did – thanks so much for your perspective on this. Certainly helped me remember why I bought CBPirate in the first place! D’oh!

And secondly the branding reminder was right on the mark. You’re certainly proof of how effective branding can be.

Thanks again for the insights, and keep’em coming!

Hi Tim – great video. Love hearing from you because you seem so genuine.

For those with video problems, I also got the blog intro video, but when I clicked the post title I immediately got the CBPirate video.

I had the same problem with the video Tim, but it finally loaded on try #5. First time I’ve ever had that happen over here.

Tim, Great blog. I’m fairly new to internet marketing.

What theme are you using for your blog here?

Also, Are you using a plugin for the 6 AD Banners in the sidebar? If so, which one?

Regards,
Ed

Tim August 20, 2009 at 6:28 pm

The theme is a custom theme I paid someone to design. Site seems to be offline now. As for plugin for the ads, click Advertise at the top and there is a link to the plugin ;-)
