You probably know by now I have a wife, daughter, and another one coming. This is great, however I tend not to purchase many fun things that I don't really need anymore. So I thought about doing something fun. I created an Amazon Wish List and am willing to give you 200 credits for every dollar you spend on buying me something off the list.
OK, so I'm not entirely sure how awesome everyone might think this is. It may end up being more fun creating the list and having the thought of getting something fun from someone. You might not think it's worth it spending $22 for 4,400 hits and becoming my #1 customer of all time. But, if you do and want to play.. here's what you do:
- Goto My Wish List
- Find something you want to buy for me (if this becomes popular I'll try and add more later, but for now only 2 items are on it)
- Add it to your cart, pay for it, etc. (it will have my shipping address)
- Reply to this thread with the name of the item you purchased. (be sure to include your StartXchange username in the username field)
That's all you have to do. Then if I receive an item I"ll come here and see who got it, and send the credits to your account! Pretty cool huh?

For some reason I expected your wish list to be a bit longer and with some really cool stuff :-)
But if an aluminum water bottle is what you really want, then I hope you’ll get it :-)

very cool idea tim, the only ‘advertising’ on my blog is my wishlist.
i’ve got many posts archived that will be auto-posted in the future,
but i have not promoted my blog at all on purpose, just to see if the
google gods will find my posts and link them, and i don’t draw attention
to it either – it’s just there.
i want to see how many people find my blog all by them selves,
and appreciate my posts enough to buy me something off my
wish list(i’ve got a ton of items in there).
so far i’ve clocked 67 clicks from the items i’ve posted.

How wonderful that Tim’s members are getting him great cool stuff, now wouldn’t you love to see things you could buy for his wife and children? Try to convince him to let me add stuff to his list ;)
