define:lurker "Someone who reads but doesn't post in newsgroups, conferences, or message areas."

It's time that the lurkers become commenters. I STRONGLY URGE you to post a comment, whether it be to a blog post, or to the photos. Doing so encourages me and makes this whole web thing more appealing.

Justin January 21, 2006 at 7:01 pm: If anything … I spam. I don’t lurk. Lurk is bad. Lurkers are people who are too busy to post but not busy enough to read a post. They normally have too much of a life to not waste, or something like that …. I donno ….
Tim January 21, 2006 at 8:47 pm: LOL I don’t know about that Justin. Usually its just people who feel they don’t have anything to contribute, but they just don’t realize how much even a “hey I agree” etc does to a Webmaster’s self esteem =P
