No Power. No Internet.

The power went out the other night at ENC. Actually alot of the area did. We were evacuated and told to stay in a field. Now I can't get online. Its been frustrating because the ITS when they get someone who can't go online, are supposed to do all the basic questions, and they have this procedure. Well I could have told them that the port somehow got messed up in the power outage, but instead I had to bring my computer down, and then when it worked fine there he said to just call later if it still didn't work. Well today I went back and they were about to have me bring it down again, cuz it was someone different. After telling them I already did, the lady asked this other guy if I got disconnected by them, and he asked me to write down my MAC address and see. I did, and they didn't disconnect me. So now I'm waiting till sometime after 3:30 for them to come by and check the port. Yay.
