Do you like this Blog’s Look?

Hi All. What do you think of the design for this blog? I was thinking about getting a new design but it seems the places I’ve contacted aren’t responding (except for one who wanted a ton of money and referred to RSS feeds as something extra, which has nothing to do with the design). So it made me think, is a new design really even necessary? What do you think?

I think it’s just fine as is. If you change it too much, people are going to have to adjust to a new site. Then again, a new design might be cool. But if you can’t find anyone willing to do it for a reasonable price…

I’ll be honest and blunt. It’s very boring. :) Blocky, texty, and a dull color scheme :P

But I come for the content. Keep the content up and you won’t have any problem having visitors. A new look would be nice, but wouldn’t call it priority!

I like it. I think its one of the better 3 column themes for WP I’ve seen.
If you decide to make changes, maybe all you need is a slight facelift like a new header and footer for it rather than a complete redesign?
I just redid my blog too because I just got bored of the old look.

Ryan Hogans lastest blog post..Congratulations to Sunday’s Drawing Winners!

I love it the way it is, and have to agree with scott.

I come for the content, and re-design is no biggie for me,
kinda keeps me focused on the content, and usually i click
    on the links you mention.

more bells and whistles is fine but may distract from the
    content and recommendations.

i guess after surveying the next best thing is to test, test, test,
and then revert and try again later.

I like the way it is, just like what others have said, I come here for the content and other useful information.

Don’t change the blog, everything is easy to find.
Just keep changing the top photos(love them), that should be enough.

Why cause your self extra work if it isn’t necessary? The design here is fine unless “you” don’t like it. You can’t try to please everyone all the time. Stick with what you have developed and improve on it a little bit here and there only if you want to. Take your time. Any discreet changes will please you and won’t be a distraction to the rest of your readers. The content so far has been very interesting to say the least. Keep it coming. It’s absolutely the most important part of all of this regardless of how the information is delivered.

    Thanks for what you do.

    Hi Tim

No new design necessary, I like it as it is.
And you already have the great tool/option RSS feed.
Its so clean and easy to navigate, if I should put my finger on anything, it has to be the “ad-by-google”, personally I hate them, they enter my brain every place I surf these days, I think its like the problem with “chewing-gum blot” on the streets. :-)

Anyway, I do not understand where you get the time to all this Tim…family and all. (hope you do as good with them as you do with us)

    Regards
