Blog tips for my friends.

I have a few blog tips for my friends. Here be them:

  1. Don’t require me to login to comment; I’m tired of logging in for everything. And signing up for everything. There are enough anti-comment spam plugins to keep you content.
  2. Don’t tell me to visit your blog the second after you post something. In fact, don’t tell me at all. Every 30 seconds all the blogs I visit regularly are checked for updates, and I’m notified.
  3. Don’t expect me to comment on your blog if you don’t comment on mine.

Yeah, so its pretty much a rant list. But really, come on guys..

For those of you who have been wondering, the WELCOME TO TIM LINDEN DOT COM will stop playing in 2 more posts. The button is almost off the front page.

Today I am pulling out the COKE and TECHNO and SALT & VINEGAR CHIPS. I tend to be very productive with these 3 combinations. And when its late at night. Which, it is dark so it feels the same way. Look for a new CLIX NETWORK soon.

I don’t require users to be registered on my blog anymore (did that several days ago, actually). It helps, I’ve saw several people leave comments since I’ve done that.

I tell you to read my posts because a) I’m bored; b) I want to read a well thought out comment; or c) I donno why.

I comment on your blog whenever I find a post of interest, :P … and sometimes even when I do not. haha

What about credit? I’m the one who told you that ClixNetwork in it’s current form’s layout was horrible. ;) I think just making an awesome layout will get people checking it out. Eye candy is good (sites that are hard to navigate thrugh that look good though — that’s just lame and that type of eye candy is crap). Also, any site done in flash I hate. Sure, have a little flash player, but the entire site? That’s crazy. Unfortunatly those people get paid because they can’t write HTML that can look identical to the flash. The ONLY thing good with flash sites is the transitions, but who really cares? I’d rather have a quick XHTML page than have a peice of crap flash file load and then some slow crap play. Grrrrr …… okay, enough complaining. The site design looked okay yesterday, keep it up. ;)
