I'm going to say something nice about someone not in TimTech. I'm going to try to do that more often too. Anyways..
Recently we added NerdSurf to SurfSkeleton and TopFlightTraffic. That means I had to modify the surfbars (all 3) and add the game pieces into rotation. Well until then I'd have never worked with the LFMTE script.
I was actually surprised at this, but it was really easy. I had those badges in rotation on both sites in minutes. Modifying the surfbar took a little longer but overall it was very simple.
Now I didn't get to use all the functions of the site, but in the process I noticed some cool features. So I wanted to say kudos to Robert and the crew over there. I realize it's been around for a long time now but honestly I've never needed to work with that script before.
So there you go. Tune in tomorrow and I might say something nice about someone else!

That sums it up. I don't want to start the week off on a bad note, but it's pretty sad some of the things going on in the industry. In particular the whole concept of keeping downlines in tact, and paying commissions.
On Friday we were logging into our accounts on dozens of exchanges, something we try to do once a month to assign credits and claim commissions and sneak a peak on what's going on.
Well, mysteriously the number of exchanges that have lost accounts or lost downlines is staggering. It's almost like it's done on purpose. Of course this happens all the time and there are excuses as to why..
"we changed scripts", "you were inactive", "i dont like you"
To me this is just sad. Especially when you help another person launch an exchange and then mysteriously find yourself without an account. I understand things change, but it should never be OK to just zap this kind of stuff.
But what can you do? I don't know. If I remove the offenders from TEList I'm labeled as a bad guy. No matter how poorly run, or how unethical someone is, if you say anything negative you're just as bad as the person doing wrong.
I guess the only thing you can do is take every opportunity to point out the people who are doing things right. The people who get it, care about their customers, and actually pay commissions they promised..
