Bible Studying

January 8, 2005

Honestly it has been a while since I've read my Bible. You see with all the technology, fast paced everything, information at your fingertips.. It has made me think of reading as very boring. I do it all day, but what I do read online is just chunks of things.. I skim over it. So [...]

Server Issues

January 8, 2005

Last night, or very early this morning, the server stopped working again. It was actually funny because I refreshed Jimmy's forum to see if anything new was on there. When I did, an Internal Server Error showed. I thought he broke eBlah somehow, so I started laughing. Anyways, I went to my website and there [...]

Clients Too

January 7, 2005

A little while ago I posted how I was getting fed up with members and the support tickets. Well now I'm tired of clients too. I sent an email out to everyone stating that there was a forum for support, and to create an account and let me know so I could give them access [...]

Support Troubles

January 6, 2005

The old support system I received many complaints that they didn't know their username and password and that they couldn't use the support page, even though it said specifically to enter an email address if you didn't know your login. I create a new support ticket system that doesn't require to be logged, and now [...]

Starting A Forum

January 6, 2005

I am thinking about having a forum on the site. What would you think about this? Would you post in it? I wouldn't want to do it if nobody were to post in it. I think it would be cool to have a forum for us to chat in. A central forum. Anyways, let me [...]

New Tutorials Section

January 6, 2005

I decided I needed something other than just me jabbing and photos. I know that Jimmy and I both have been saying some day we'll each have a tutorials section on our site. Well for a while he had one, but it said Coming Soon. So I decided to beat him to it and create [...]

New Daily Photos

January 6, 2005

You can now see a new photo daily on the Tim Linden Photos section. I will be consistantly adding more photographs to the folder containing the images not yet on the site. Each day a random image is placed into the site. Once things get going with it, I'll add some "archive" pages like this [...]

Photo Progress & Jeremy Blog

January 5, 2005

Well I have made progress in this daily photo thing. I was hoping MT could be used to power it, but the "Post in future" feature isn't working. You see the blog is re-built after each post, but if I post it in the future and didn't post daily, the future posts wouldn't be added [...]

Daily Photos

January 5, 2005

I have selected about 39 photos for the Daily Photo section that will be coming soon. If I get ahead enough, I may increase it to Daily Photos, and have up to 5 images daily. For now I'll just have a new Image daily. I'll have to start taking more pictures too. This'll be interesting. [...]

Conversion Complete

January 4, 2005

I finished converting all the old blog entries. I found out how to format a text file with entries to be imported into MovableType. I just made a script spit out the old entries onto one page, saved it, and put it in the import folder. It was a breeze! I didn't know I had [...]

The Design & Whats to Come

January 4, 2005

Well this design is fairly simple. I just made two images and had them for backgrounds for various parts (body and the top header). I didn't change the layout of the blog because I want it to be easy to navigate. This is probably the most common setup, so if you've come across a blog [...]

TimLinden.com Functionality

January 2, 2005

I've been thinking about what I want TimLinden.com to have. Right now the design looks nice and all, but I'd like things to be nicer. First I think I'd like a REAL blog script. This is functional and all, but there are many official blog features that work with other blogs that I'd like to [...]
