OK folks I'm out of the loop on safelists, list builders, paid to clicks, etc. I know I do this periodically because I don't keep up as much on them, but I find it helpful to find out from you guys which ones are still good.

When I did a survey for ClickTrackProfit a while back I didn't realize how much of a response I was going to get. It actually got me very motivated. So motivated I added a motivational section to CTP.

It's right under the LoginLesson, and it shows random quotes from real members like you using CTP. It got me really excited seeing how many different people were using CTP and were excited themselves!

So I encourage you to login every day and check out one or two or three of the quotes until you are motivated to start your day. I figure if I'm motivated by their success, you will be too!

I don't get too excited with the traffic exchange industry, because this rarely happens, but it's happening now. I'm talking about SurfSkeleton!

William has been slowly growing SurfSkeleton for a while now, doing everything right. And the exciting thing is it's starting to really pick up. He's gone from ranking #68 to ranking #37 in 3 weeks!

These rankings are based purely on traffic flow, so its the most unbiased ranking of traffic exchagnes. Rankings are updated every Monday and are free to view! You can thumb up/down an exchange or leave a comment to give user feedback (but it doesn't affect the ranking).

So that means the ranking should be updated today! I'm just excited to see his progress. So much so he ran out of bandwidth a little while back and had to upgrade his hosting. I remember back in the day where exchanges left and right had to deal with growing pains, now it seems many are downgrading rather than upgrading!

This is an interesting site. It's a collection of resources on various topics around marketing, sales, etc. You know the stuff small businesses get into.

It looks like the site is mainly trying to get you to buy the various ebooks. There are good topics, I saw one covering how to claim your business on Facebook. Stuff small businesses need to know.

My only problem with the site is the layout feels complicated when in reality it's a straightforward concept. I would definitely simplify the whole thing because I almost stopped viewing the site entirely.

This is a problem many sites have when there is a lot of information available. You want to make everything easily accessible but at the same time keep it simple. Because many of the topics in there are helpful to business owners if they are able to get to it.

I really had a great time watching Larry shop on Black Friday. It was actually funny because Justin thought he wouldn't spend any money but he couldn't resist some of the offers. I mean poinsettias for 99 cents! A few stores later they were selling for $17! (Btw, Thanks guys for getting me to buy some, my wife was happy)

In case you missed any of our Black Friday offers, they'll be back for Cyber Monday but at all different times! I heard some of you missed the StartXchange LIFETIME Upgrade that I've never before sold and will never again sell. You know my beef with lifetime upgrades. But I was so into the Christmas mode early that when we were doing crazy deals I did allow some crazy things to happen.

I'm a bit excited today, we're going to a Veteran's Day Parade. I'll be honest, this is the first time I'm going to a parade since I was a kid. I thought it was about time for my kids to go. Afterall they recently learned in school that when you see a soldier you should salute and say thank you, so what better time to go!

I'm also excited to be able to wear my Red Shirt Friday shirt to the parade. If you don't know, it's a symbolic gesture to show support for our troops. I've had the honor of having friends in the Army, Navy, and Air Force and heard many stories of the things they've gone through.

So even if it's not the biggest parade in the country, if there is one in your town why not take the time to go show support?

OK so the guys will tell you that I don't get out much, and it's kind of true. I tend to not be aware of what's going on outside of TimTech.

I know for us we are running a Spooktacular Sales Event, and today we're selling AdKreator for a lifetime upgrade. That's insane. But other than that I don't know what going on. I just lose track of it all. So..

What's Happening with You? What are you up to? Anything fun and exciting? I know our industry is small but there's usually a ton of things happening, so nows your time to shine!

Well that was exciting. I stayed up past midnight to watch the servers come to a screaming hey wait a minute everything was good to go! For the techs out there, don't run all your cron jobs at the same time!

It's actually ironic because I thought it was the new servers having issues, but turns out we keep growing so cron jobs that used to run in a split second take a few minutes, and when you have a dozen things going that all take a few minutes on their own fighting for the same database while backups are trying to run..  Well you get..

The growth of our company in terms of the amount of traffic we get is just crazy. And it's all thanks to you guys! We do our best to put out services that help you build your business, but you guys are the ones using them and recommending them. So thanks!

We've got a ton of ideas up our sleeves, but we've been waiting to get the kinks out of the new system first. Nothing stunts a cool idea than server problems. I know, because that's been the story of my life. I'm just thankful that we now have a system with load balancers and failover servers because well it geeks me out.

I don't say this to brag about it to you guys, I just know as a techy guy I get excited whenever services I use start putting out the specs of their systems. It's the same reason I subscribe to Digital Storm's Youtube videos showing the latest rigs they've built. I don't need 4 video cards but that doesn't make it less cool to see a rig with 4 video cards water cooled right? =P

Looks like this post has turned into one of Tim's rambling posts that doesn't really do anything but tell you I was in the mood to write and didn't come up with anything better to write about. But hey these posts usually preceed a helpful post right? Maybe.

WOW. That's all I can say so far. For super servers we're really having a mess of problems! It's been a humbling experience to say the least.

But Thank You, to all our supporters out there. From the people in chat letting me know what problems still remain, to all the people posting encouraging messages in chat letting us know they still love us.

Many of the problems have been fixed and we continue to work on them. Thank you for the patience, and thanks for being great members of our sites!
