So to the people who do write articles, I've got a few questions and/or thoughts. The last post got me thinking.
Do you post all your content to the article directories, or do you keep some unique content for your own site (ie blog). I'm thinking if you make a blog where you post all your really good content, and submit articles to all the directories and have them link to your blog, it'd be a way to gain links and traffic to your blog.
But is that what you do? With traffic exchanges there are people who just submit standard affilliate pages in, so I'm wondering if people are doing that with articles too. IMO that'd be a waste.
I use my blog as my list, so I'd see big value in bringing more people to my list directly in this way. That way I can continue to sell to my readers.
Just don't be like Sea Fast Traffic and have a script that copies content off of real blogs and links to it (which your trackbacks are auto flagged as spam guys so might as well stop). The reason people like my blog is I post real content.
Also - what directories do you submit to? For spam reasons, it's best to just post the name not URL (blog will mark your comment as spam if you have too many URLs). I know about EzineArticles but I'm interested in hearing what directories you think are worth your time.
Finally - much talk about outsourcing articles. Anyone out there already outsourcing it? How much an article do you pay? Anyone out there interested in being paid to do it for others?
Since I don't consider myself an expert in this area, I'm interested in the feedback! I may try the outsourcing thing, but still not sure about it all. I'm limited on time (only reason I'm posting this now is I was watching the kids with a netbook in hand) so we'll see if I ever do any of it LOL
