Banners used to be a really hot commodity, but they kind of went out of style for a while. Recently they've been getting a comeback!
Carl Baily of Instant Splash fame came up with a simple idea, a sort of viral splash page with banners on them called Banners and Bucks. Your banner, your upline's banner, and an upgraded member's banner.
It's a simple idea, kind of like Buckets of Banners (Steve Ayling) but rather than randomly swapping around banners and assigning credits, Banners and Bucks has your banner always showing on your referrals pages and your pages.
Now I'm not going to claim to do this all the time, because it's really easy to forget about banners when you focus on splash page hits, but they can be great for branding!
We hear all the time that it takes many views before someone is willing to sign up or buy something. So having banners plastered all over the traffic exchanges helps you brand in addition to the splash pages. So when the splash page comes up, there is recognition already!
Of course the biggest problem is that most people don't have banners. That's where AdKreator comes in, it's a tool you can easily create banners with. If you are branding yourself to build a list, you'll want to have your name and/or photo on the banner. That way people will recognize you on the banners and splash pages.
So there you go, a few tools for your box to help you with your business. It can seem tedious but when you add it all up you get a well oiled machine!

The value of banner and text links is so easily overlooked, especially by people using manual TX’s for the 1st time
If you have a new splash page (your own from many opportunities or the affiliate one from a new joining), it needs following with both banner and text use for extra coverage!
Both Carl and Steve run superb sites that are really worth the time and effort of joining!
Lets be honest, TX’s should not be all about clicking like mad just to get credits
Looks like an interesting concept. Banner ads have always done well for me. Rotating sites in TE’s is fine but when someone clicks your banner you know they are interested in your product or site. Recently I showed a banner 50,000 times got 230 clicks on it and made 32 sales. Not bad for free banner exchange program in my book.
Banners are the Bill Boards of the Internet Super Highway !
Don’t froget about Instant Banner Creator. It is a greate way of creating banners as well, and of course Buckets of Banners allows you to create some too.
I’m in the works of a new still of Banner Exchange. Having to work
on the bugs and see how the thing works first. Hoping to have it by
next month or at latest October.
Thanks for the information Tim.
You always have something informitive and inspire me to be more
motivated.
Edward.
I often like converting credits to banner impressions if the TE provides a good conversion ratio. If anyone clicks on your banner he’s already more interested than a user who merely sees your site in the surf frame.
But regarding Banners and Bucks, I’m a bit disappointed. I upgraded 2 days ago and my banners get around *5 impressions a day* from my upgraded member bonus. Sure hope it picks up!
I usually use my extra credits on safelists to buy banners. Their click thru ratio is better than the safelist emails’.
Try it and you will see. Also had good experience with Teezak’s exchange banner ads. Much better than text links.
Over a year ago,I had a couple of free programs that give you each of your downlines information as they sign up.It is sent to your email box.
So I decided I would use the banner ads for stuff I considered worth peanuts. I divided my free banner credits evenly on all my traffic exchanges. Well last month I found I had hundreds of signups and all their information too. So I am saying free biz’s make good listbuilders! foxybird
