Win a Flip Mino Video Camcorder

Well I’ve been talking about video for a bit, and talking about how I use the Flip Mino, and I thought hey it would be fun to give one away! All you have to do is pick your favorite blog post on TimLinden.com and blog about it! It’s the “What’s your favorite Tim Linden blog post” contest!
I’ll then create a way for the readers (that includes you!) to vote for the best one! I’ll then contact the winner, get their shipping information, and purchase the Flip Mino on Amazon and have it shipped directly! The deadline to enter the contest is October 8th!
- Pick your favorite blog post.. Can’t find it? Use the search box to the right!
- Write on your own blog why it’s your favorite post, and link to it on that post! (otherwise people will wonder what you are talking about LOL)
- Make a comment on this post with the URL to your post. That way I know where to find them! Make sure to use the same email address you are subscribed to the blog with!

Good contest which should generate tons of responses. Don’t know how to blog so cant enter contest but I think its a great idea and ending on my birthday makes it that much better :)
Great contest! Does it matter where one makes that blog post? Just make sure it has a link to the “favourite post” and then make a comment here with a the url to the blog. I know I’m repeating, but hey I’m Finnish…
Hi Tim!
I loved your post on using videos with sound because it makes sense and validates why so many traffic exchanges have pages with sound!

I put a review on my blog over at
http://bradpollina.com/blog/do-you-use-sound-or-not-on-your-splash-pages.htm
Brad Pollinas lastest blog post..Do you use sound or not on your splash pages?
Giving away a Flip camera…Wonder where you got that idea from? LOL
You should add a picture of it, describe it a little, and state its worth so people will better know what it is and really come to want one more. Maybe you could even describe some of the great video that you have created with it.

My favorite post (that I have read) is “Even annoying sounds gets clicks!”, had me laughing and thinking about what to do to my splash page at the same time =p
http://marketersp.blogspot.com/2008/10/tim-lindens-blogs-best-post.html there’s my 2 cents about it lol. And that back link you want so bad =p

I love the Subject: “Are you a surfer or a marketer?” read about it here:
http://www.timlinden.com/blog/traffic-exchanges/surfer-marketer/
This is a great subject and this should every surfer ask them self? I wrote some about it at my blog Here:
http://stefanbergs.blogspot.com
Later on I will stress more of it on my new Blog… http://StefanBergs.com/blog... But I’m not up and running over there yet….
Me myself try to surf less and marketing more… and concentrate on the money part….where am I suppose to bring in the money? Oto, emails… thank you pages and so on…
is this contest open for international?
Yes… I mean Tim himself is from UK, me from Sweden and international I guess means the whole world… I have not seen anything said against it…
Lol, if you are referring to Tim Linden he is not from the UK he is from the US albeit New England, but certainly not England.
I imagine you would have to check with Tim about shipping and how you could get a flip designed for the European or another market with the proper power adapter and such. However, I don’t imagine there would be any other issues, although I cannot say for certain since I do not know how exactly he is running the contest.

Thank you Jonathan…
I have mix it up lol …. UK ha lol again
I was 100% sure that a contest is open for all if anything else is said in the contest rules…
I think you’re right, I am just saying that there may be some logistical things that will have to be worked out if you win. Just something to keep in mind, because I think if flips are like many other things the company may make slightly different variants for different parts of the world. So, if Tim has not already procured the flip you may be able to work with him to get one packaged that has a power adapter designed for say European power outlets, which obviously use different voltages than US outlets.
Jonathan Hayness lastest blog post..International Talk Like a Pirate Day
Oh, I just looked it up and it looks like it only needs double A batteries; I through it may have a cell phone type battery. So, that means the power outlets are not really a concern, so the only thing you may have to worry about is shipping if Tim has already procured it (and who knows maybe Tim would even be willing to pay for international shipping if you win), if not then I am sure most of the other logistical concerns should be rather minor.

Hi again Jonathan lol… here we end up talking rules. I guess you are right… here is what Tim says in the TOP of this page:
I’ll then contact the winner, get their shipping information, and purchase the Flip Mino on Amazon and have it shipped directly!
Funny you speak about Voltage… I was electrician 22 years … you are right again!!!
Tim:
As I am a newbie on the exchange, I really like your sharing your family with us.
I am not discrediting your teachings, they are great as each one I read I learn a lot. Like I said, I’m
new so it takes awhile to sink in. Besides I am not that computer literate.
Congrats on the birth of your daughter.
My favorite post is “Splash Page Heatmap Testing” this was something that I wasn’t aware of.
My review of this was posted on my blog at http://buildasplash.com/blog/heatmap-splash-page-testing/2008
This is my second try to comment, the first was filtered out for some reason.
Well… It was hard to chose a Topic to write about. I’m putting my blog together on a new site regarding Viral Ebook Marketing… And I really haven’t seen Tim post about it (hint hint - give us your views)
Anyways… I chose “Spotting Bad Traffic Exchanges” because it will provide my readers with good questions to ask and things to look at, when chosing their advertising avenues…
Enjoy the post, and please let me know what you think… I’m always looking to develop my skills

Wow, you are actually giving away a real tangible product? so what ever happend to banner impressions, text impressions or traffic credits.
Still I have to give you credit for coming up with the original idea for the contest. You are giving a way a darn quality product, hmm…. how much does one of those unit cost anyway.
Even if I don’t win, if my entries get’s considered it should generate some traffic to my blog, plus it should be interesting.
I just wrote a rather long winded comment here about my favorite Tim Linden post and when I submitted I got an error message. So here is the link to my blog post about my favorite Linden blog post without all the wind:)

I don’t know if you already ended your contest or not (as I through October 8th meant midnight on October 8th was the deadline), but I have entered anyway. Since I had a few free minutes to get at the computer. My blog post is here on my new multi-user blog (which anyone here is free to join, lol) http://blogweb.ws/2008/10/08/tim-lindens-blog-contest-learn-from-the-kids/
