Why I Installed NoFollow Plugins

I decided to install two plugins, Link Love and NoFollow From Home. These plugins play with the NoFollow attribute on the links on my blog.

• Link Love will remove the NoFollow attribute to commenters with 10 or more comments. It uses the email address, so you can change your URL if you wish. I wanted to give a benefit to those who comment frequently.

• NoFollow From Home turns all the external links on the home page to NoFollow links. It doesn’t do this to the links on the post pages or archives, only the home page. I don’t want to be giving out the PR and trust of the home page. I’ll be saving that for the links in the sidebar.
