Using your Photo, Does it Work?

There is a thread in Net Marketing Forum about Photo Branding. I was going to comment, however with 3 pages of comments it would most likely get lost.

My Testing Shows:

In most cases, using your photo will increase your results. However there were some splash pages that did better without a photo.

Things to Consider:

Your photo will work differently than the photos of other StartXchange members. If you are known more, it’ll help more. It’ll also take some time for people to recongize you, so the longer you are around, the more likely it’ll have the branding affect.

I don’t have a nice suit like you have so I can display myself everywhere. Besides, I like the internet because you don’t have to display who you actually are. :P

Hello Tim: I like reading your informative notes upon my starting to surf. I find them helpful. In the way of getting attention in a short statement, I recall my public speaking classes and one of the rules in forming a good speech is to have a short, crystal clear, 5 word or less statement called the SPS. (Specific Purpose Statement). Then you go into the body of your speach and detail what your SPS is. Then you close your speach with a short summary of what you have told them. It’s sad to say that I see such slopy work out there that many times I just won’t read them. Develope the body of your letters first then spend some time crystalizing your SPS. Do you remember the box that a good speach comes in. 1. Introduction. 2. SPS. 3. Body. 4. Conclusion. The SPS is the focal point of a good speach.
I really like your surfing company and use it as an anchor for my surfing.
Thank you for your time. Brad Vigansky
