Traffic Exchange Advertising Part 3

Alright I’ve sent 163 hits to my rotator, 121 of them were unique people. Now I’m ready to modify my splash pages based on the results.

Not exactly.. 163 hits isn’t much, so I should spend some more time on getting more hits. I don’t like to make decisions on anything less than 1000 hits, and even then sometimes I’ll wait a bit more.

Right now the middle photo below hasn’t gotten a click, but the other two did. But that doesn’t mean the middle one is bad because the amount of hits is so low.

I’ll take the time to tell you how I made my splash pages. It was quite easy - I used Traffic Exchange List. The splash page editor only works in IE for some reason, but it was simple to create the pages and it tracked all the clicks automatically.

You might also think that as a traffic exchange owner I should be able to through thousands of hits at that website. Well I can, and maybe I will. But I wanted to point out that most people stare at the stats too early and make decisions based on a small amount of hits. And you might not own an exchange, and might feel my findings are only because I do own StartXchange.
