Taguchi Testing Results

So I finished my test using Taguchi. It had some interesting results. There were 9 experiments, and each received 302 hits. Not a huge amount of traffic, but Taguchi will supposedly work on a small number.

Hit Exchange News AwardÂ

I won’t display the body text as it didn’t seem to affect the results. The biggest player here was the link text. It scored triple the clicks of the other links. 60% of all the clicks were on that link.

The Hit Exchange News Award just barely outperformed the others. It is a niche award so it holds more authority than the other images, but since the difference was so little I can’t really say for sure it was increasing results.

With the link text having such a huge difference I wonder if it affected the statistics for the others. I’m not even sure I did the calculations correctly, or had enough hits to really know. But it’s definitely clear that I’ll be using that link text from now on =P
