HeadlineWars! and improving your Headlines

I was talking with Stephen Ayer of Traffic Roundup, and he came up with an idea to create a website that you vote on your favorite headline. So HeadlineWars! was born.

It’s a simple idea, it’s fun, but the kicker is this: You can actually use it as a tool to improve your headline writing skills!

I decided to just keep it simple: You view two headlines and click the one you like the best. You can then vote as often as you’d like until you’ve viewed all the headlines. Then you can create an account if you want to add your own headlines.

If you have some kind of product for Headline writing or Ad copy, this may be the place to advertise. I’ve got some AdBrite ads setup so you can purchase either text ads or “Intermission” ads. I haven’t used AdBrite before so I’m also checking out how this works out.
