Have a Plan of Action

I was reading a post “What To Do When a Prospect Says Yes” and it made me realize I don’t have a plan written out when someone buys my traffic exchange script.

Well guess what happened. That’s right, someone bought my script right after reading that! Well I tried it out, and this is what I sent:

1. You’ll need to give me the domain name you’ll be using the script on (…)
2. I’ll send you the scripts in a zip, with your registration code (I’ll soon have a client area back up again so you can download updates but I’m doing my annual website shuffle)
3. You’ll need to sign up to the forum - let me know your username and I’ll give you access to the Owners Only section which answers most of the common problems with installation etc.
4. Once you have an exchange up and running, I would recommend you join the Exchange Owners Forum. It’s relatively new but I hope to have it “the place to be if your an owner” soon ;-)

Of course, where it mentions doing things I had links to the places they needed to go. I still need to work on this, as there is probably more missing and such. However, I was glad to get a sale that I’d be able to try it out right away. So now it’s your turn, post any stories as a comment!
