Don’t get your emails JUNKED

With spam in full force, filters are also in full force. There is one simple way to help ensure your email gets delivered, especially to free email services like Gmail and Hotmail.

The idea is simple: You put in your DNS which servers are allowed to send out email as you. Then when an email is received, the server checks if its from who it’s allowed to be.

If the check comes back positive, then your email is allowed. If it is negative, then its gotta be spam (or you messed up =P). If it doesn’t have a record, then here we go filters!

It also helps in cases where spammers will send out email as you. Do you really want them to be able to fake emails from you? It can make people send angry emails to you.

So how do you do it? It’s easy, with SPF: Sender Policy Framework. Simply goto the SPF website. There is a wizard setup for you, and all you have to do is copy and paste the end code into your DNS!
