Don’t get Google upset

Many websites utilize Google Adsense to make money from their website. Well like MLMForums found out, it’s not a good thing to get Google upset.

Here are a few tips to make sure you don’t get Google upset:

• Don’t click the ads! - Yeah, I’ve done it a few times before. But I really wanted to goto the website. I’ve tried to just right click and copy and paste the link, taking the Google tracking out.. But I found that right clicking still “clicks” the ad. They should have a cookie on your computer so you can click the ads without making them track it as a click, because really some times I do want to click it.
• Don’t ask people to click the ads! - This can get you in trouble. Google only wants people to click the ads because they interest them. If you say “support the website and click the ads”, then people will blindly click ads even if it doesn’t interest them. This makes the ROI for Google Ads lower.
• Don’t join adsense exchanges! - Yes, I’ve seen these advertised. A traffic exchange designed for clicking adsense. They require you to click an ad every X views. Now lets see here, do you think Google in all their computing power, will be able to figure it out? 100% CTR would be a BIG alarm.

It’s really simple. The problem with all this is there are going to be false positives to their automated fraud finders. So if you do get kicked from Google, try contacting them. If they still say no then check out AdBrite.
