Branding Yourself

When you watch tv, advertisements are thrown at you every 10 minutes. Very rarely do you jump up out of your seat, run to the store, and buy what was just shown.

So why would millions of dollars be spent to throw advertisements at your face, if they weren’t going to do any good? They know it won’t work instantly, but they also know that you will start to recognize their company and products.

So how does this tie in with Internet Marketing? It’s simple: Brand Yourself. If you aren’t part of an Internet Marketing firm or some other large company, your best option is to brand yourself, and not just the website.

By branding yourself, you’ll be able to gain the trust of customers when you create a new website. If they see that you are a reputable person, and trust you, and then see that you are part of this new website, then they’ll be more likely to trust the new site too.

It is very simple to brand yourself online too. Simply add a photo and your name on the pages you promote, and that’s it. If you don’t have a photo, just make sure your name is very visible - otherwise you’ll be missing the whole benefit of this branding.

And remember, this doesn’t happen overnight so don’t expect immediate results! How many times have you seen the commercials on tv?
